Fase Controls is a trading name of Fire and Security Engineers Limited.

Fase Controls design, develop and manufacture products and tools related to the fire/security and building services industries. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your access and use of the Fase Controls Service. The “Fase Controls Service” includes our products including associated hardware, firmware, applications, documentation, software, websites, APIs, products, and services.

These Terms are an agreement between you and Fire and Security Engineers Limited, an English company with its registered office at 12 Lincoln Close, Woolston, Warrington, Cheshire. When the Terms mention “Fase Controls", "Fire and Security Engineers Limited”, "Fase", “we”, “us” or “our”, they refer to the party to the agreement that provides you with the Fase Controls Service.

You must accept these Terms to create a Fase Controls account and to access or use the Fase Controls Service. If you do not have an account, you accept these Terms by using any part of the Fase Controls Service. If you do not accept these terms, do not create an account or use the Fase Controls Service.

Use Of The Fase Controls Service

Persons under the age of 16, or any higher minimum age in the jurisdiction where that person resides, are not permitted to access or use the Fase Controls Service unless their parent has consented in accordance with applicable law. Additionally, you cannot access or use the Fase Controls Service if you are barred from receiving services under applicable law or have previously been suspended or removed from the Fase Controls Service.

We reserve the right to remove or disable access to the Fase Controls Service, any Fase Controls Content, or Your Content at any time and without notice, and at our sole discretion, if we determine that the Fase Controls Content, Your Content, or your use of the Fase Controls Service is objectionable or in violation of these Terms. We have the right to investigate violations of these Terms and any conduct that affects the Fase Controls Service, and in response may take any action we may deem appropriate.

Use Of The Fase Controls Products Fire and Security Engineers Limited reserve the right to modify or improve the design, hardware, firmware or specifications of our products at any time without notice.

Creating An Account

Full use of the Fase Controls Service requires that you create an account by providing us with information such as your full name and a valid email address, as well as a strong password.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs in association with your account. Fire and Security Engineers Limited is not liable for any loss or damages caused by your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Please Contact Us if you discover or suspect any security breach related to the Fase Controls Service or your account. We need to collect your details to be able to provide the Fase Controls Service. All information that you have supplied to the Fase Controls website can be found by logging into your Fase Controls account. The personal data you provide is used to answer queries, process orders or allow access to specific information. You have the right to modify and delete all the personal information found on the "My Account" page.

At any time, you have the right to retrieve the data you have provided to our site. To retrieve this data, log into your Fase Controls account click on "GDPR - Personal data" and then click on "Get my data" to automatically download a copy of your personal data on a pdf or csv file.

Use Of The Fase Controls Products

Fire and Security Engineers Limited reserves the right to modify or improve our Services and the design, hardware, firmware, documentation and specifications of our products at any time without notice. We continually monitor, develop or modify our products. This may be due to changes in client specifications, changing requirements when connecting to 3rd party equipment or the supply of components used to manufacture our products. Following any hardware or firmware alterations we fully test our products to ensure that everything is working as expected, however, products may slip through the net. In the rare occasions where products are issued with hardware issues or firmware bugs, Fase Controls will fully investigate any reported problem and rectify this as necessary. Where it is proven that a defective product has been supplied then a new unit will be supplied or a refund supplied. The process of investigating and rectifying hardware/firmware issues can be a drawn-out process and can take between 10 days and 3 months. Fire and Security Engineers Limited will issue a replacement product proven to be issued with hardware or firmware bugs but due to the ongoing development nature of our products, under no circumstances will Fire and Security Engineers Limited cover costs spent by your company, engineer or individual in the supply, installation, commission or time spent reporting and replacing products of which hardware/firmware issues to Fire and Security Engineers Limited.

Return Procedures of Unwanted Goods

In the highly unlikely event of customer dissatisfaction please return the goods to the following address. An RMA form must be completed and included with your returned products. A re-stock charge of 25% of the returned sale value of the goods will be charged for unwanted goods.

You can download our Returns Form Here. Fill in the form and include this with your goods. You should then ship your goods to the above address. Your shipment should be insured to the full value of your goods and a 'signed for' service used. Fire and Security Engineers Ltd will not take responsibility for your courier service.

If you would like to hold credit with Fase Controls then a credit slip can be raised and used to purchase future products.

Return Procedures of Faulty Goods

We will refund 100% of the value of the purchased goods if these are found to be faulty. Download our Returns Form Here and include this with your goods. All returned goods marked as being faulty will be checked by our technical department. If these are found to be faulty then the full purchase cost will be refunded. Please include a persons name & contact details on the RMA form to whom we could talk to regarding this as we may need to investigate the reason of the failure of any goods as part of our product development. If these are found to be damaged by the engineer at the time of installation then we will email you with our findings. In this circumstance, no refund will be offered.

If you need a replacement product then re-order the part required and if the unit is found to be faulty then a full refund for the faulty item will be issued.

Fase Controls will not cover the cost of any postage/courier costs involved or company/engineer downtime that occurred. See the 'Use Of The Fase Controls Products' section above.

Application of Vat

All prices shown are exclusive of VAT (Value Added Tax) unless otherwise stated. A full summary of shipping costs and VAT are shown in the shopping cart and in all invoices.

Design and Reproduction

Designs, drawings, photographs, part numbers, layout and style are considered property. Reproduction in whole, or in part, is strictly prohibited without written consent. Measurements are approximate, Exact products may vary from that shown. All products are subject to availability. Fire and Security Engineers Ltd has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website and therefore shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. These exclusions of liability shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by negligence of Fire and Security Engineers Ltd or any of its employees or agents.
